To celebrate the release of his upcoming single 'Shelter' on December 14th, Joe is having a launch party at The Green Room, Stockton.
Joe Ramsey is a singer/songwriter from the North East of England. His debut single, 'Time' first got featured on the Unsigned Guide spotlight and went on to receive airtime on BBC Introducing, including numerous plays on BBC Tees, Spark FM in Sunderland and Reform Radio in Manchester, eventually landing in the Top 40 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart.
Joe started playing bass in bands at the age of 15. On his 21st birthday, he decided to go his own way and write for himself after the band split. Taking his inspiration from John Mayer, who he considers to be his icon, as well as Ben Howard and Ryan Adams, Joe writes about everyday situations with an honesty and directness that’s relatable to everyone.
Joe is set to release a string of acoustic singles and remixes via The Animal Farm label, showcasing an exciting young talent walking in the footsteps of Kodaline, James Bay, Foy Vance and Jake Bugg.
"He offered us an easy introduction into a night of indie fabulousness with his mellow acoustic set, which was reminiscent of Ed Sheeran." - The Courier
