Throughout 2019 Tees Music Alliance’s focus has been very much on developing artists in the Teesside region...

From opening up the first slot of The Georgian Theatre stage of Stockton Calling to submissions from brand new artists, to putting on their various showcase gigs such as Songs From Northern Britain, Visions and SIRF Fringe, weekly drop-in sessions with Chris & Dave, mentoring sessions with music aficionado Henry Carden and more recently teaming up with NARC Magazine for weekly music industry events entitled Tues-DIY.

On Friday 27th January as part of Independent Venues Week, TMA have announced their music conference, On Point. It’s a day of discussion and networking to help steer music creators and activists in the right direction and features an array of guest speakers from the local and national music industry. There will be panel discussions, round tables conferences, meet the expert one-to-ones and music workshops to give artists, promoters and those who work in the industry all the information they need.

Live music, showcasing local talent will be taking place throughout the event, which will carry on into the evening with a special music event, where musicians and industry types can mingle and network in the hopes of creating further opportunities.

Speakers will be announced over the coming weeks. Keep an eye on The Tees Music Alliance Facebook page for up to date information.
