Local Pop Rockers Twister are set to headline the Georgian Theatre in Stockton to release their Newest single '64 White Lies' on Friday 22nd September
The Georgian Theatre, having just undergone a 1.4 million pound refurbishment, will be subject to a night of arena sized anthems from local lads Twister, as part of their 'Welcome to the State of Mind' Tour.
The band has had already had a busy year, releasing their full album 'Combined State of Mind' with a huge release party on the main stage of Newcastle's O2 Academy which was filmed to be used as a live video/documentary style TV show later in the year, as well as their usual array of gigs and festival appearances. However, the band has felt like Stockton, hometown of Bassist Matt Whitaker and Drummer Joe Major hasn't been fully exposed to the enthusiastic and energetic live performances on their relentless touring schedule, and so it is time to bring their full headline show to one of the best music venues the town has to offer.
As well as being Twisters first Stockton show of 2017, the night will serve as the launch show for the bands new single '64 White Lies' which is now available for Pre Order on iTunes with this link:
"I love playing in Stockton so the chance to headline this prestigious venue is absolutely awesome! We can't wait to get out there and show everyone what we're made of!" Began Joe Major
"The band has been getting a great response throughout the north east and its been great to play the same stages as some of my musical heroes but it's going to be great to bring our full show a lot closer to home!"
