Militants and Rebels: Labour and the Struggle for Irish Independence
A panel of historians from Teesside University and NUI Galway will discuss the labour movement in Ireland and Britain during the Irish revolutionary period. They will look at everything from the connections between the War of Independence and the North East of England tothe radicalism that led to strike action in Belfast and the Limerick Soviet. Join this lively discussion including questions from the audience.
This event has been coordinated by Teesside University in partnership with the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and the Irish Centre for the Histories of Labour and Class at NUI Galway.
